Waterfront Market held a simulated session for the traders at the fish market to introduce to them the complete operational process, right from fish offloading to sales, at the new market. The session received a great response from an excited audience.
The 30-minute session started with the fishermen arriving with their fresh catch and docking at the pontoons on the Waterfront Market promenade. The fresh fish were then offloaded and transported in trolleys to the auction area.
After the auction, the fresh fish were quickly moved to the fish stalls for sale. The customers were then shown the cutting and cleaning process, along with the easy payment facilities available.
The traders, members of the committee and the audience present during the session were highly impressed with the ease and convenience of the entire process and applauded the state-of-the-art hygienic facilities.
